Meet you in a time anomaly and nearly kill you with Romulan Ale. Since we're here let's start with the relatively bland and have a hot shower followed by both of us getting off.

I know more of you than I know you and I resent this city. Where do you live, by the way?

I've got a house in the Up.

[ He sends her the address. ]

Before you judge me on the way it looks, it was a sort of inheritance, not the result of delusions of grandeur on my part.

[onevoice]

I had no intention of visiting now. Unfortunately curiosity is a trait I value so I need to see what you're talking about.

[wherenoman]

[ Yeah, that was the plan, sort of. ]

I'm planning on keeping a motorcycle in the stable.

[onevoice]

[ You brat - she likes it. She gets u and wanders toward the address. ]

This is absolutely ridiculous.

It suits you well.

I like to think I'm adapting well.

Want a tour?

[onevoice]

[ She really wishes she liked him just a bit less. Just enough less to be slightly less agreeable.

That's about the city, not him. ]

I'm obviously outside. Come give me a tour.

[ He's there in a moment and greets her with a grin. ]

Apparently Rhys' former Dominant did plan to keep a horse in the stable, she just didn't get around to it.

[ He's going to start with the tour of it. Never having housed an animal, it's at least clean. The whole house is clean and well-organized, in fact, a thing that isn't Jim's doing but at least he doesn't accumulate much by the way of clutter. ]

[onevoice]

[ Dammit, man. She grins back, albeit briefly because she's trying to be... what, stern? Dignified>? Sure.]

How does Rhys feel about having a motorcycle instead of a horse?

[wherenoman]

It's less likely that any upkeep will fall to him.

But I don't think he knows what he's been missing out on yet.

[He'll move on from the garage and show her the kitchen, which is surprisingly well-stocked for him, but that's Rhys' doing. The amount of alcohol in the bar area, though, is down to Kirk, Rhys, and Jadzia all together. ]

Want a drink before the rest of the tour?

[ he's definitely planning to end them at his bedroom. ]

[onevoice]

[ Kirk may not have chosen the design of this place, but it is just ridiculous enough to fit him.

She looks at him levelly at the offer of a drink before the 'rest' of the tour. ]

That depends on whether you're trying to end the tour in your bedroom, your bathtub or the front door.

[wherenoman]

[ He grins at her, unrepentant ]

I'd like to end it in the bedroom, although you're certainly welcome to help yourself to the bathtub from there

[onevoice]

[ She... outright laughs and rolls her eyes at him. ]

Fine, then. Give me the tour, Captain.

Over here you have the kitchen. I've found the microwave very useful for warming up food that was stored in the refrigerator to comply with food safety best practices.

Theoretically the oven can be used, but I leave that to Rhys. He is very good at not burning things down with it.

[onevoice]

I'd much prefer a replicator myself, but I'm not sure that I believe someone who can command a starship can't manage a box that gets hot.

[ She's teasing and - this man is so exasperatingly charming. It's terrible. She loves/hates/loves it. Didn't she say he was too young for her? He's too young for her! And yet. ]

[wherenoman]

It's harder than it looks.

[ Not the starship commanding. Okay, fine, also that. ]

And I've made a solemn vow now to burn down this house. I take that very seriously.

[ On to the next room for the tour. ]

We've been working on finishing the basement.
